Justin State Bank

Vista Bank Acquisition

As of April 1, 2023, Justin State Bank and the Charis Family of Banks officially joined the Vista Bank family.

A century-old company, Charis sought to partner with Vista Bank because their history and operating philosophy mirror our own while allowing us to offer new financial capabilities and services to our loyal clients and the markets we serve. We are confident our stakeholders and communities will benefit from this transaction and the disciplined, healthy growth of Vista Bank. We look forward to becoming part of the Vista family.

Best known as the 'Entrepreneurs' Bank,' Vista serves markets across North, Central, and West Texas through its 14 Banking Center locations and emerging digital presence. With a rich 111-year history of serving individuals and small to middle-market companies, Vista shares our values and People First culture. Following the merger, the Bank will have over $1.8 billion in assets and 16 Banking Center locations.

Although our Charis brands will all change in the coming months, you can expect the same friendly Charis team members, best-in-class service, and products from our new partner, Vista Bank.

Charis Bank, Westwood Private Bank, and Justin State Bank clients will be converted onto Vista Bank's data processing system in November of this year. The Charis bankers you've come to know and love will be there to help you every step of the way. The timeline for this transition was intentional as Vista is upgrading its core banking platform this summer and sought to minimize any disruption or inconvenience for each of you. Just more evidence that they were the right choice.
